Director of Care Operations
Quote: “If you wish to illuminate the world, don’t go ridding it of darkness spitting fire and flame. Be a torch, instead, burning steady but bright. Where others come to set their candles alight.” – Shakieb Orgunwall
Kate Gregory has devoted herself and her professional career to the service of those struggling with substance use disorder, truly embodying the qualities of Brookdale’s fundamental beliefs – compassion, empathy, and dedication. With a unique ability to cultivate connection, change and empowerment among individuals, Kate makes an exceptionally proud addition to our Leadership Team as Director of Care Operations.
Beginning her career in March 2011, Kate has worked as an administrator in all levels of care for both non-profit and for-profit rehabilitation centers. Throughout the past decade, she has been responsible for the co-facilitated launch of a recovery-based community resource center, a co-founded sober living home for women and the development of NorthBound & Co., a non-profit organization she co-founded in 2017. This non-profit aims to help those struggling from addiction through various recovery-based and community events, most notably their “Annual Community Friendsgiving.” Alongside these many efforts, Kate continuously strives to advance her own personal knowledge of this disease, even traveling abroad to attend various educational workshops on European models of treating addiction.
In her downtime, you can find Kate cooking, gardening and reading. She also finds joy in the outdoors, whether she is camping, kayaking or traveling to new places.
In her role as Director of Care Operations, where she oversees Brookdale’s Intake, Case Management and Utilization Review Departments, she hopes to continue to learn about the operations of providing treatment in an environment that cultivates growth, open-mindedness and excellent patient care.
